Bridesmaids
Cortney is the Matron of Honor. Cortney and Janae met in August of 2007. Both Cortney and Janae were beginning their careers in education at Miller Elementary School. Cortney and Janae immediately hit it off, and after having lunch at Subway on the 2nd day of school, and were instant BFFs! Cortney now lives in Sault Sainte Marie Michigan with her husband Jason and two beautiful children McKenna and Kohen. Despite the long distance Cortney and Janae remain close talking for hours on the phone. Cortney and Janae dream of growing old together as pink stretch pants wearing old ladies and someday neighbors!
Janae and Lisa met over 17 years ago. Janae was just 12 years old and Lisa was 15. Lisa had just started to date Jeremy (Janae’s older brother) at the time. Jeremy and Lisa dated all through high school. When Jeremy left for college Janae and Lisa were so lonely and decided to hang out every weekend. Their favorite past time was shopping, watching the Brady Bunch Movie, and eating pizza. Lisa is now Janae’s sister-in-law (Yippie!). As sisters they talk everyday over the phone and they visit each other often. Lisa and Jeremy now live in Los Angeles CA. After 15+ years Janae and Lisa still enjoy shopping and have an unusual love for all things chocolate hazelnut and salted caramel.
Lucinda is a mutual friend of both Sherif and Janae. Sherif and Lucinda have known each other for over a decade. Lucinda was at the Keys on the night that Janae and Sherif met! After their first meeting, Janae and Lucinda became fast friends over their shared love for high-end handbags, baking pastries, and crafting. Over the years, Lucinda has become Janae’s closest friend in Tucson. Lucinda currently lives in Sahurita, AZ with her husband Luke and her two munchkins Rayne and Luke. Lucinda and Janae one day hope to open their own bakery where they will specialize in small delicious treats.
