In 2006, Sherif and Janae were both attending graduate school at the University of Arizona.
They met on February 3rd 2006 at the Keys nightclub in Tucson AZ. Sherif was celebrating the 30th Birthday of friend Candy Howitz (née Perry).
Sherif invited Shawna Matthews (née Comer) along with her boyfriend at the time (now husband), Tyler Matthews to come to the Keys. Shawna (who was Janae’s neighbor as well as Sherif’s co-worker) was the matchmaker with a plan! She introduced Sherif and Janae that night, and the rest is history.

» We plan on getting married on May 25th, 2013 at Saint’s Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
